Renee Black, the mother of recording artist A$AP Rocky, said yesterday she is “very grateful” for President Trump‘s efforts to get her son freed from the unlawful incarceration he is facing in Sweden.

“I’m grateful, very grateful, that the president even considered approaching it in the manner that he did,” Black told Sweden’s Expressen TV.

President Trump tweeted in support of A$AP Rocky in an effort to free him from the inhumane conditions he is suffering in Swedish jail, and said, “I personally don’t know A$AP Rocky, but I can tell you that he has tremendous support from the African American community in this country. When I say African American, I think I can really say from everybody in this country because we’re all one.”

The Epoch Times creditedKim Kardashian West, Kanye West, and political commentators CJ Pearson and Ali Alexander were also among those pressing Trump to get involved.”

Culttture has exclusively covered the timeline of how Alexander brought the story of A$AP Rocky to the attention of the White House and the State Deparment, and how Pearson and the West family were involved.
