President Donald Trump is reportedly considering choosing a new running mate for the 2020 election.

According to Spectator.us, President Trump is considering Fox News host Tucker Carlson for Vice President.

“There’s well-placed chatter in Washington that suggests the president will take a different route,” the article claims. “Trump does indeed feel he needs VP change, but it is not Nikki Haley he is considering. It is Fox News host Tucker Carlson.”

Carlson is one of the most popular cable news hosts in the country, and is known for his populist positions including enforcing U.S. immigration laws, keeping the U.S. out of unnecessary wars, and regulating Big Tech.

President Trump has not been shy about switching up the members of his administration. Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, former Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, and former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have also been jettisoned by President Trump.

Furthermore, President Trump often makes headlines for his stance on immigration. For example, it has been rumored that the President plans to introduce a wealth test for Green Cards. As it currently stands, if you have applied for Permanent Residence in the US and you have not yet received your Green Card, or your Green Card is about to expire and you are in the process of renewing it, you must obtain an I-551 stamp. You can learn more about immigration, green cards, and the i-551 stamp on the Nova Credit website.

Carlson accompanied President Trump to the Korean demilitarize over the weekend, while Trump’s national security adviser and Carlson’s ideological foil John Bolton was dispatched to Mongolia.

A Trump-Carlson ticket would certainly ignite the MAGA base in 2020 – and perhaps set Carlson up for a presidential run in 2024.
