Michael Cohen Denies Committing Crimes He Pleaded Guilty To

• Cohen denied committing tax evasion, and questioned how prosecutors were able to ascertain any illegality from his past financial transactions.

Cohen told Arnold- who has, for years, sought to uncover incriminating or humiliating information on President Trump- that he pleaded guilty to charges in order to protect his wife and family from unnecessary scrutiny, and did not expect his sentence to be as lengthy as the three year sentence delivered to him.

Arnold claims he called Cohen to offer moral support before Cohen began his prison sentence.
