Corporate Media Attacks Candace Owens For Promoting Nationalism

The media took Owens's comments about nationalism out of context

  • Candace Owens was attacked by the corporate media on Friday when an edited video of her defending nationalism from December was circulated online.
  • Owens was opining on the difference between a nationalist and a globalist and expressed her opinion that “nationalist” is invalidly applied to Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.
  • As the communications director for Turning Point USA, Candace Owens has remarkably organized thousands of public speaking events across the country, making her a well-known and respected voice in the conservative movement.
  • In her defense, conservative commentators responded to critics online. Some outlets even published full quotes and dispelled the outcry from the left.

Corporate media employees like Soledad O’Brien can not stop talking about Candace Owens. O’Brien has tweeted comments about subjects like Owens’s eyeliner and is now part of a media mob bashing Owens for explaining what nationalism is.

Conservative commentators like CJ Pearson rose in Owens’ defense during this professional media outrage mob, but Owens had no trouble combating the media herself.

“I would make the argument that [Hitler] wasn’t a nationalist. He was a homicidal, psychotic maniac, who was bent on world domination outside the confines of Germany. He wouldn’t say that he was a nationalist because he wasn’t about putting German’s first. There were German Jews that he was putting into camps and murdering. He was a mass-murderer.”
