Laura Loomer Files Lawsuit Against CAIR And Twitter

The scorched-earth Jewish conservative activist alleges corporate coordination to limit her ability to speak out.

  • Thursday morning, activist Laura Loomer launched a lawsuit in Florida state court today, alleging collusion by Twitter and CAIR to silence and de-platform her.
  • Loomer was permanently banned by Twitter in November 2018 after repeatedly questioning Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) about her past support for female genital mutilation and requests for sentencing leniency for convicted Islamist extremists.
  • Myriad social media and networking platforms have permanently banned Loomer, including: Twitter, PayPal, GoFundMe, Venmo, Medium, Uber, and Lyft.

CAIR lobbied to have Loomer banned on Twitter. The controversial Islamic relations group, which has been accused of being a front for Hamas and the Muslim brotherhood, is an ardent supporter of Congresswoman Omar.

In a statement from her New York-based free speech attorney Ronald Coleman, Loomer said the following: “The greatest threat to free speech today is political pressure being placed on corporate forums like Twitter. We are looking forward to a jury hearing the bias and collusion between Twitter and the terrorist front-group, CAIR in their efforts to silence me.. No one loves the free market more than I do, but shutting down dissenting voices by labeling them ‘hate speech’ has nothing to do with freedom.”
