A Marvel ‘hero’ is taking a beating - but not from a comic book villain.

After Captain Marvel star Brie Larson made negative statements about ‘white dudes’ reviewing her films, Jack Posobiec launched the “Alita challenge.”

With Larson making Captain Marvel all about progressive politics during her press tour, Posobiec encouraged movie lovers to see a movie with a female hero that didn’t preach politics off screen.

The “Alita challenge” went viral.

After Posobiec launched his campaign for people to see Alita: Battle Angel instead of Captain Marvel, the movie rating site Rotten Tomatoes was forced to delete 45,000 user reviews of Captain Marvel - and delete much of their promotion for the film.

“We saw what Disney did to Star Wars and now we see what they’re doing to the MCU,” Posobiec told Culttture. “The Alita Challenge is about watching a movie with a strong female lead that doesn’t hate half her audience. It’s cultruralnormativity. We are sick and tired of SJW politics being crammed into our movies, regardless of what side it’s coming from. Brie Larson attacked fathers, sons, and brothers. Why would we give money to people who hate us? Not happening anymore. Even the paid bloggers and Disney shills admit this movie stinks. Captain Feminist is going to be the Solo of the MCU.”
